Children's Parade - Brighton Festival 2008

Kick-starting the Festival with its carnival atmosphere and fiesta style fanfare is the annual Children's Parade, the most spectacular community event of its type in the country.

Throughout the year over 4,000 participants from 70 schools and community groups have been in creative cahoots, hatching a plan to create the biggest, loudest and brightest parade in its 18-year history.

This year's theme was children's games.
